Action Coupling & Equipment Inc. is the largest manufacturer of fire hose couplings and adapters in the United States. We are in the heart of Amish country, in Holmes County, Ohio. We started in 1991 with a dream to be the best coupling manufacturer anywhere. We pride ourselves in producing “Made in USA” products. Since our founding, we have grown from 30,000 square feet of manufacturing space to over 135,000 square feet and over 100 team members.

As a family business with three generations active, we believe in continually investing in our production methods, equipment and employees to create an atmosphere of innovation. We pride ourselves on producing the highest-quality lifesaving products for the fire service and other markets. We produce most types of fire hose couplings and adapters from 1” to 12” and virtually all threads from garden hose to 8”. We also produce most things storz, caps, gauges, wrenches, elbows, hydrant gate valves, coupling machines and tooling as well as many other items.

With over 1 million pounds of inventory between raw stock and work in process, our motto is “Action Delivers”. We stock many of our products and ship them the same or next day. If you need a product for an emergency, we have the capability of manufacturing most items and shipping them very quickly. Over the past decade Action has invested heavily in modern manufacturing equipment and processes. We are excited that our long-term plans have come to fruition.
